Still in development, yet going strong.

Im looking forward to songbirds release and by the looks of their blog, its getting closer, they have fixed a number of bugs and reduced the ram useage as well, keep up the good work guys.

Marmite

Over the past couple of days, apart from the blog craziness, i’ve been experimenting with marmite!

I know that there are a lot of people that hate it, and quite frankly this post isnt for you people!!

But there are a lot of people that like it too, heres what i’ve tried:

Marmite and Cheese Sandwiches
Just spread marmite on one piece of the bread used to make the sandwich and choose and strong cheese to pair it with, i found that marmite on both bits was a bit over powering!

Marmite and Sausage Sandwiches
Again marmite on one piece of the bread of the sandwich, add 2-4 sausages and there you go, a nice tangy sausage sandwich fit for a king.

Marmite Drink
For this i put one teaspoon of marmite in a cup of boiling water and stirred, it started off nice, and the smell was lovely, but after about half a cup it got a bit weird and made me feel ill, this one is only for the extreme marmite fans.

Any other suggestions?

15 mins of fame..

Now that myspace post is lost in the depths of Digg.com, i dont expect my blog to keep up the amount of hits it got yesterday.

The final count for hits yesterday was 14796 and 808 diggs, the post has been blogged in many places including myspacehacks, primehacks, populicio.us and hackerslife, and i hear from friends on my blogroll that they all saw an increase of traffic as well, it certainly was the digg effect, but now it looks like this:

Nearly all of the comments i got yesterday were negative, which didnt suprise me, but crisising me for my spelling is quite low really, i not the worlds best speller, and the only thing i can suggest is maybe some kind of spell check added to wordpress (woh are a great blog host btw).

Atariboy remains the top blog on wordpress and the fastest growing blog, so i’ve been getting a lot of hits from the dashboard, currently on 1062.

I’ll have to see how many posts i can squeeze out before i disappear into obscurity again!
