Teabass Widget

I’ve got a little present for those readers using OSX, I’ve made a little Teabass RSS widget. You can put it on your dashboard and it will keep you up to date with all the latest stuff on Teabass.

It’s my first attempt at a widget and it’s by no means perfect but it does the job pretty well and looks just like the website too!

New Apple stuff

So the keynote was yesterday and Steve announced some very nice products. Before the show I was expecting to melt my credit card with loads of great purchases and be drooling and waiting with baited breath for new hardware and software to come in stock… but no!

The iPhone: Looks frickin’ awesome, except for the fact it won’t be available in the UK for at least a year.. damn

Apple TV: Again looks very cool (although I’m sure a mini mac would be just as good, if not better when hooked straight up to your TV) but there is no point in me getting one; I don’t have a TV and the only video available on the UK iTunes store are a bunch of 2 minute shorts.

So a bit of a let down for me, although I’m sure everyone in america is gushing like a school girl, just don’t rub it in too much.

Oh and btw, what happened to Leopard?

Can’t stop, so here’s so blurb

Since I came back to london a week ago I’ve been rushed off my feet one way or another, work and new years and a cold from hell! Everything has kinda hit at once and I’ve hardly had the time to sleep let alone keep with friends and blogs and all my usual web stuff.

I forget what happened over xmas/new years, it all seems like a bit of a mushy blur, although I’m happy to be back in london, just a few days in somerset (with no real internet) just killed me. My great friend Mike managed to remind me of some stuff just now with the magic of flickr.

He’s got a sweet new camera (which I suggested, I might add), a Sanyo C40 which is mightly impressive for the tiny price of £129. It does TV quality video, 4mp Pictures and has a 60x zoom!

That is one of my fav’s that has me in it, he’s put a load up from when he came to visit me on his flickr, you can go ahead and gloss over some of the less attractive shots of myself!

I will attempt to catch up with some stuff at the weekend, but I’m not making any promises.
