Mystery Card Solved
A quick update on the Mystery 1GB SD Card I found before xmas.
I completely forgot about it for a while and then found it in the bottom of my bag whilst hunting for my keys (which I’ve lost), I got the chance to see what was on it over xmas..
… we were all hoping for Spiderman 3 or some juicy celeb photos but it turned out to be a spanish tourists holiday photos and videos from a trip on the London eye. A bit of a disappointment but we all new it was 99% like to be fruitless but I can dream!
I’m not going to post any of the photos online to respect the privacy of the tourist. I don’t think there is anyway I’ll be able to find or return it to them either.
Saying that, I still have the contents of the card so if it belongs to you feel free to contact me and if you can provide enough proof that you are the owner I’ll be happy to send it to you with all the data intact.
Otherwise with my new Nikon D40 only two weeks away which just so happens to accept SD cards I think it will come in pretty useful and save me £40 or so.
well, £40 if you buy one there, perhaps. I got a 4GB here for £31.

indeed, i can get a 1GB card here for NZ$40 (about 15 pound). Memory cards have some of the highest markups for all electronics in electronic stores.
Perhaps if there are any photos on the card that don’t include people you can post those on a website somewhere and send the link around (post on digg maybe), it might even become one of those crazy stories etc
